After more consideration, I have now decided that Kate Hudson Heaven will be remaining open as an archive only site. That means that the site will no longer be updated with anything new or old but as we have the most extensive and complete content and gallery on the web for Kate that will remain open for your viewing pleasure. (Having said that, April and I may update some old stuff from time to time – to fill in some missing gaps – but will unlikely post about it here on the main page). As mentioned before, I just don’t have the time or motivation to keep the site going, but I don’t want to delete it just yet.
April & I are still planning to do our 10 Years of KHH special posts, and after they are completed the content will be re-added and the gallery will be re-opened, and we will be going into permanent ‘archive-only’ mode.
Thanks to the magical powers of Miss Penny Lane and our co-web April, I have decided that Kate Hudson Heaven will be staying open for the time being! At the moment I am not sure how the site will be run – whether we will keep the site as an archive site, only focus on a particular period of Kate’s career, or only focus on her film work etc. – there will be changes, but we will keep you updated on that. For now, the site will be on an open hiatus for a month or so while we get all that sorted.
One of the changes seen will be a massive overhaul of the Gallery – we will be giving it a tidy and replacing photos with better quality versions, including more high quality photos and more HD film screencaptures. I will also continue to work on our content – it’s pretty full as it is, but it all needs a good update. We will continue to be the most extensive and complete fansite for Kate, packed full of rare gems
I also just remembered that KHH celebrated 10 years online last week, so April and I have some fun plans to celebrate that soon too
Thanks for your patience and support, and please stick with us ….
After almost 10 long years online (9 years and 48 weeks to be exact), I am sad to tell you that Kate Hudson Heaven will be closing its fansite doors soon. This was not an easy decision!! Running this site has been an absolute blast, and I can’t begin to tell you what an influence Kate has been on me. I still love everything about Kate – her personality, her screen charisma, etc. etc. – and will continue to follow her career and watch her films. However, at this point in time, I no longer feel like I can do her justice through this fansite, which is why I have decided to close it. I don’t have the time or motivation to continuously update with candids, appearance photos, magazines, news about other non-acting career projects etc., which is what you expect and want from a fansite. I have been slack about updating in the past few years, and I now realise that I don’t want the site to just sit here un-updated.
As I said, I have loved working on this site, and a big part of that has been all the fellow fans and forum members who’ve contributed to this fansite to share that Kate love. There are too many of you to mention, although I wish I could, but a very big thank you goes to all of you <3
The site will remain online and open for the next couple of months, and barring any major changes of mind, will go offline maybe around August. Thank you once again for visiting our fansite, and please keep supporting the delightful Miss Hudson!
Kate Hudson Joins Zach Braff’s ‘Wish I Was Here’
Kate Hudson is joining Zach Braff’s Kickstarter-financed Wish I Was Here.
The actress will play Braff’s wife in the film, which will also star Josh Gad, Mandy Patinkin and Jim Parsons.
Following the Kickstarter success of the Veronica Mars movie project, Braff launched his own campaign on the crowd-funding site and raised more than $2 million in a four-day span. Last week, he landed gap financing from film financing outfit Worldview Entertainment.
Braff will direct Wish I Was Here, which he wrote along with his brother Adam Braff. The former Scrubs star, who made his mark on the big screen writing, directing and starring in 2004’s Garden State, portrays a struggling actor in his thirties who reconnects with his family as he seeks purpose in life.
Hudson, whose recent film credits include Mira Nair’s The Reluctant Fundamentalist, is repped by CAA and attorney Marcy Morris.
Ann Taylor will be launching their new collection that has been designed in collaboration with Kate at a party on May 22nd! Kate gives us a sneak peek in the video below:
“It was such an honor when they asked me to come back for the campaign and to work on a collection inspired by my personal style. I love how Lisa Axelson, Ann Taylor Creative Director, picked up on my style and turned it into a very chic, incredibly wearable collection!” – Kate Hudson
The Reluctant Fundamentalist opens in Australia on May 23
Kate Hudson loves to wear white. She says the colour protects her aura and she’s probably not wrong. Dressed today in a toga-style dress, the label of which she will not disclose – she waves her hand dismissively when asked – her demeanour recalls the Queen of Sheba. Even if the svelte 34-year-old doesn’t have her own kingdom to rule, she hails from a famous dynasty, which is ever growing.
Her mother, 67-year-old Goldie Hawn, hasn’t made a movie since 2002 and now devotes herself to her Hawn Foundation, promoting mindfulness. When I once saw them together at a Hollywood party a decade ago, mother and daughter seemed like a pair of teenagers – fit, immaculately preserved and beaming those mega-watt smiles.
“I am a really active person, I am not lazy,” says Hudson, reclining on a sofa, her tanned legs clad in an impressive pair of Louboutin heels. “I work out a lot. I grew up dancing; I can’t not sweat. I have to. If I go four days of not doing something then I feel it. It really is a chemical thing.”
The Reluctant Fundamentalist is available via Movies on Demand On Cable in the US now! Be sure to rent the movie to see Kate in this political thriller.
Firstly, sorry for any downtime you’ve noticed here at the site recently – our host was having some server issues. Hopefully it’s all sorted now, and we will re-add the two posts that were lost during the downtime.
Kate finally returned to our screens on Glee on Thursday night, in their latest episode entitled ‘Wonder-ful’. Kate looked and sounded amazing in her ‘Uptight’ dance number, and the episode gave us a little Cassandra twist! What did you all think of this?
I thought Kate was contracted to be in 6 episodes, but unless I’ve missed one, she has so far only done 5 … anyone know if Cassandra is going to make a return in next week’s season finale?
Check out over 300 HD screencaptures from ‘Wonder-ful’ in our Gallery:
As posted about before, Kate returns to our screens on Glee tonight, and here is the video of her performance of the Stevie Wonder song ‘Uptight':
