The Oscar nominations were announced a short while ago, and very disappointingly NINE only came away with 4 nominations. While the film was not perfect, this lack of nominations is a real shame because the film was very well put together by all involved, and, in my opinion, excelled in more than these 4 areas. Even ‘Cinema Italiano’, which received a Golden Globe nomination, was snubbed. Our congratulations go to the only cast member to receive a nomination, Penelope Cruz for Actress In A Supporting Role, and the other crew involved in the nominated categories!

Cross your fingers, toes etc. for some wins on March 7th when the ceremony takes place!
