Kate Hudson is ‘way more rock ‘n’ roll’ than her partner, Muse singer Matt Bellamy.

The Hollywood beauty – who was previously married to Black Crowes frontman Chris Robinson – parties much harder than her rock star fiancé backstage after Muse’s shows, and Matt insists he and his bandmates can’t keep up.

Matt said: ‘My partner is way more rock ‘n’ roll than me, she likes to come out and get the party going more than I ever could.’

Matt, 34, insists he has calmed down a lot since the birth of his son, Bingham, with Kate, 18 months ago and he now has a much more serene attitude to life.

Speaking to the new issue of Classic Rock magazine, he said: ‘ I have reduction in long-term anxiety. I used to be overly concerned with things you couldn’t necessarily control in life. Natural disasters, elections. Watching your baby from a young age focuses your worries on something more direct. I’m still interested in what’s going on, but perhaps less emotionally engaged than I was. But, who knows, in a few years that might all come back.’
