| ‘The Killer Inside Me’ actress Kate Hudson has revealed she found it ”weird” watching her alter-ego die on screen. Kate Hudson found it “bizarre” when she died on screen. The 31-year-old actress – who recently worked on thriller ‘The Killer Inside Me’ with Jessica Alba and Casey Affleck – admits she struggled to watch back scenes where her alter-ego passed away after a “brutal” attack. According to Absolute Now, she said: “It feels a little weird. It’s definitely not the funnest thing to watch. It’s brutal. Watching yourself die is just bizarre. The process of dying is bizarre because you, obviously, have nothing to draw on but other movies.” In the film, Kate’s alter-ego Amy Stanton is killed by her partner, Deputy Sheriff Lou Ford – played by Casey – who turns out to be a secret psychopathic killer. Kate is not the only star who was upset by the movie. Jessica – who plays Joyce Lakeland in the Michael Winterbottom-directed movie – recently admitted she also found it difficult to watch. She said: “It stays with you, especially this. It’s a difficult movie to shoot and it’s difficult to watch. It’s about a very dark subject so I think if you are being true and authentic then it does definitely affect you.” | ||

| Hello Kate fans! I’m just dropping in to give you a bit of a site update. Updates here have been slow recently because I have been swamped with University work. Typically, Kate herself has been very busy during this time too! Updates will continue to be slow/non-existent for the next few weeks because I just don’t have to time to keep up with everything. After that I will be working to catch up on all the latest photos from appearances, the Something Borrowed set, and candids. In the meantime though, I’d like to hear your opinions on something! I will be ordering a new layout for the site soon, as this one has been up for a while and Nine has come and gone. I’d like to hear your suggestions for photos you’d like to see used in a new layout – browse through our Gallery – which, can I add, is the largest and most comprehensive you will find for Kate online – (photoshoots are best used in layouts) and let me know by posting a comment here or emailing me which pics you’d like to see used in a layout. Don’t be shy – share your opinions! | Goldie Hawn, Elton John, Sting, Debbie Harry, Dame Shirley Bassey and Bruce Springsteen joined them on stage to raise funds for the Rainforest Foundation Fund’s 21st Birthday It’s not often you get Lady Gaga and Sting sharing a stage, much less dueting. But last night, all in the name of charity, that is exactly what transpired as the duo shared a the stage. The pair belted out Stand By Me as GaGa tinkled the ivories. And it wasn’t the only star performance of the night. Sir Elton John took to the stage sang his own version of Madonna’s Like A Virgin while male dancers clad in nothing more than their underwear danced around him. As ever GaGa’s footwear was a cause for talk and she had to remove one of her enormous platform shoes to be able to play the piano. After her Sting collaboration, the pair were joined by Dame Shirley Bassey, Debbie Harry and Bruce Springsteen for their version of Don’t Stop Believin’, the track by 80s group Journey which has seen a resurgence of popularity thanks to hit TV series Glee. The Rainforest Foundation was set up by Sting and his wife Trudie Styler (who put last night’s star-studded event together) to raise money and awareness for the plight of the amazonian rainforests. | Revlon, Inc. (NYSE:REV – News) has announced that its Almay brand has signed one of Hollywood’s hottest stars, Kate Hudson, as its newest Global Brand Ambassador. In her role as Global Brand Ambassador for Almay, Kate will be the face of new and existing Almay products and will appear in global multi-media campaigns that include television, print, in-store and internet placements. Kate’s first television and print campaign for the brand is set to debut later this year. Commenting on today’s announcement, Revlon President and Chief Executive Officer, Alan T. Ennis, said “We are thrilled to welcome Kate to the Almay family. She is smart, confident and vivacious. Her energy and youthful spirit are contagious β Kate is a perfect ambassador for the Almay brand.” In addition to being featured in upcoming global advertising campaigns, Kate Hudson will be involved in various company-sponsored philanthropic and fundraising events. She will represent the brand at the Almay Rainforest Concert on Thursday, May 13th at Carnegie Hall in New York City. | The annual Metropolitan Museum Of Artβs Costume Institute Ball was held in New York City last night, and Kate attended with her BFF’s, Liv Tyler and Stella McCartney! Kate was wearing an elegant nude-coloured dress by Stella, and it looks like she’s wearing the same shoes she wore at the Golden Globes earlier this year! | Kate Hudson was glowing in a blush Stella McCartney dress Monday at the Metropolitan Museum Costume Institute gala in NYC. “She said it makes her feel like a princess,” McCartney told Us on the red carpet. Hudson, 31, wasn’t afraid to show any leg, either. She posed in several photos with the slit of her dress riding high. McCartney told Us the dress was “made for the girl,” adding that it is “very much [her] personality.” Before the event, Hudson spent time getting ready with Liv Tyler (who also wore Stella McCartney), with whom she walked the red carpet. “We have this little ritual where we meet at like 2 or 3 [o'clock], and we drink champagne and do hair and makeup and take pictures, Tyler, 32, told Us. “Then we come here and we start walking and weβre like, ‘Oh my God! Iβm going to trip!’” Luckily, neither did. | ||

| Whenever a book is adapted for TV or film, its most avid fans always wonder: How closely will the script hold up to the book itself? Well, when MTV News caught up with “Something Borrowed” star Kate Hudson at the New York premiere of her flick, “The Killer Inside Me,” she said that they are currently working out all those details. “Oh yeah [we've started discussions about the adaptation]! We’re well into that right now,” Kate said before noting that “Killer” is also a book adaptation but “very different… very different…” from the “Something Borrowed.” She continued that while meetings are still ongoing about the “Borrowed” script, she’s sure the story will remain as true to the book as possible. “People are very particular about what’s in the book and what’s not,” she explained. “And I think for it’s pretty true. There’s a couple things that we might switch around, but it’s gonna be pretty true, I think, to the novel.” Based on Emily Giffin’s bestseller, Kate is set to play, Darcy, a beautiful, bratty bride who gets everything she wants. Also in the movie are Ginnifer Goodwin, who plays Rachel, the bff who falls for Darcy’s handsome fiancee (played by Colin Egglesfield) and John Krasinski as Ethan, a trusted friend and confidante. | ||

| Kate attended the Tribeca Film Festival premiere of The Killer Inside Me in New York City last night! She looked glamorous in a little black Louis Vuitton dress, which her co-star Jessica Alba had to help her keep under control when a gust of wind came blowing through! She started off with a coat to keep her warm but appeared to take it off quite quickly. I love her look here – the coat, the dress, the hair etc.! As always with Kate, there are trillions of photos from this appearance. So, the first batch of photos – 70 HQs – have been added tonight, and more will follow very soon.
