When did you first become a fan of Kate? :
I first became a fan of Kate when I realised I was watching How to lose a guy in ten days repeatedly
whilst falling in love with the movie because of her fabulous character. I started watching all of
her movies and just could not stop watching - i soon realised what a natural character she is
herself and started loving her for it. I am a huge fan and love Kate for her personality and
natural dramatic ability and her ability (without being cliche) to literally light up a room. What is it about Kate that you really love/admire? :
Absolutely everything - she is intelligent, beautiful, a great actress and has a charm that
in this is world is few and far between! When she smiles - she makes me smile, and
when she cries I do too. Not many actors or actresses have that power. I admire her strength
and her ability to retain normalilty in the hollywood world of pretentiousness and greed. She
is happy and everytime I see her I aspire to everything I have explained. I also love that
she can be the person she is in her own right - she doesnt have to rely on something else
to be the person she is, unlike many people in Hollywood and the drama business in general. What would you like to see Kate do in the future? :
I would love to see Kate do whatever she wants to. I would love to see her stick with her family,
keep acting and to never lose her individuality! One more wish would be that she would come to
Sydney for a bit so I can meet her! What is your favourite Kate film? :
I love so many of her films because she is so utterly different in every character she takes on -
how to lose a guy in ten days makes me laugh over and over; Almost Famous is why she is the star
she is today and although Raising Helen didnt really hit the box offices I think her charm and
love in real life showed through here so i love it! So....! Probably Almost famous - it was an
incredible achievement and she was so fantastic as Penny Lane. Why should you be fan of the month? :
Well, I aspire to Kate because of the person she is - that is happy, funny and charming!
I watch her dvd's over and over and love them more every time - i have even watched the
directors commentary!! (dedication lol) and I buy and keep every possible magazine that
has even the smallest feature on her! I honestly feel as though I am one of the hugest
fans out there - whenever i see her it makes me smile!
