Kate Hudson had some romantic company for her 29th birthday on Saturday, as she celebrated her big day with Owen Wilson in Miami. Hudson joined Wilson, 39, and his parents for a lunch at Lario's on South Beach Saturday afternoon. "The four of them sat away from the crowds and had a blast," says a source at the restaurant, which is owned by Gloria Estefan and her husband Emilio Estefan, Jr. "Kate and Owen looked very happy and were talking up a storm to Owen's parents."
Kate Hudson's early birthday cheer couldn't get any weirder than this - the actress was given a 'snake' shaped cake by a woman to mark her birthday in advance. The actress, who turned 29 on April 19, was surprised when a woman - who apparently, owns the mansion where the bombshell is currently filming 'Bride Wars' - gave her the bizarre cake.
Don't even get Kate Hudson started on petrochemicals. The actress, 29, can reel off the ingredients found in most shampoos and tell you precisely — and accurately — where they come from and how safe they are. "I've learned about all the stuff we put in our bodies every day. I do, too. "All these things we use to penetrate the scalp and our skin — some of them are the worst things we can put on our body. There are a lot of carcinogens," she says.

Kate Hudson is a comedy pro, according to one of her upcoming costars. "I had a lot of scenes with her, and she was really funny," Jason Biggs told PEOPLE at Tuesday's Recording Academy Up Close & Personal with Mel Brooks, in Santa Monica. (Biggs plays Hudson's ex-boyfriend in this fall's My Best Friend's Girl, costarring Dane Cook.)
Warner Home Video has announced the Matthew McConaughey and Kate Hudson "romantic adventure" Fool's Gold is coming to Blu-ray Disc on June 17. The release will be day-and-date with the standard DVD. Extras will include: a "Flirting With Adventure: The McConaughey-Hudson Chemistry" featurette and a "Gag Reel."

Later, the gals are seen jumping for joy. Make of that what you will. The “Fool’s Gold” star and Hathaway, of “The Devil Wears Prada” fame, are in town filming for the next month or so. Kate Hudson is planning to move to New York so she can be closer to boyfriend Owen Wilson, it has been claimed. The Fool’s Gold actress – who rekindled her romance with ex-boyfriend Owen earlier this year – is said to be desperate to make the relationship work the second time around, and is prepared to move to the Big Apple to do so.

Kate is on the cover of the May issue of Cosmopolitan (UK). It doesn't feature a new photoshoot, and I think the interview may be partly new ... I recognised parts of it from a previous, recent interview! Scans coming when I get time...
I've added over 80 HQs of Kate and Anne jumping around on the set of Bride Wars in Boston on Monday - it looks like they're having a blast filming this movie, and I think that will come across in the movie! I also came across a few pics of Kate on set yesterday with blue hair!

Candice Bergen will co-star opposite Kate Hudson and Anne Hathaway in the romantic comedy Bride Wars for Fox 2000 and New Regency, reports Variety.
The story revolves around best friends (Hudson and Hathaway) who are pitted against each other when their wedding dates clash. They compete for venues, services and guests.
Bergen will play Marion St. Claire, the queen of all wedding planners.
April 7th, 2008 - Church joins Hudson in 'Big Eyes'
Thomas Haden Church is to star opposite Kate Hudson in biopic Big Eyes. The Spider-Man 3 star will play Walter Keane, husband of '60s artist Margaret Keane, reports Variety. Margaret was famous for her drawings of children with big eyes, which were sold under Walter's name. The independently-financed movie will focus on her "personal awakening" as a result of the feminist movement and the subsequent lawsuit over the right to use her own name on her artwork. It will be directed by Scott Alexander and Larry Karaszewski from their own script.

There's nothing quite like throwing together an A-list Hollywood party at the very last minute. But that's exactly what hip hotelier Jason Pomeranc and his other half, Dolce & Gabbana's Ali Wise, managed with aplomb. Kate is on the cover of the new issue (May) of UK Eve magazine. It's only a 3 page feature and there is no new photoshoot, but the interview is practically entirely about Ryder, and it's really sweet. Scans will be added later this week ...
