McConaughey and Hudson click

KATE Hudson and Matthew McConaughey love hanging around each other.
They have played each other's romantic interest twice now: five years ago in How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days, and in Fool's Gold, opening here next month.
But the two insist they're one couple who will never get together.
"We work well and we fight well,'' McConaughey explains.
"When we first talked about making Fool's Gold, Kate said: 'I can't wait for you to give me a pain in the a*** again.'''
In Fool's Gold, McConaughey and Hudson play married treasure hunters whose search for booty leaves them broke.
But, just as they divorce, they stumble on a clue that may lead them to a fortune.
There may be no real-life romance between the two, but they agree they get on very well.
"I think it's fun for audiences to see us on screen,'' McConaughey says. "They want us to hook up, but they don't want us to.''
Indeed, the lack of rumours of any on-set romance between the two while they were filming Fool's Gold was one of the more notable aspects of last year's shoot in north Queensland.
Hudson had not only just gone through a very public split from her musician husband, Chris Robinson, but seemed heartbroken over a dying dalliance with troubled star Owen Wilson.
Shots of Hudson, sad and frowning, while on mobile-phone calls contrasted starkly with images of McConaughey having a wow of a time, whooping it up in bars and on beaches up and down the Queensland coast.
Hudson says of herself and McConaughey: "We've never had any kind of relationship romantically, and there's an element of that you can feel when we're working together.''
McConaughey adds: "We're always courting. It's a constant flirting that keeps it really alive. We never dated, but we can still be attracted.''
In any case, McConaughey is madly in love. The 38-year-old star has just announced that he and his 24-year-old girlfriend, Brazilian model Camila Alvares, are expecting a baby.
On his website, McConaughey wrote: "We are stoked and wowed by this miracle of creation and this gift from God, and so excited for the adventure that will come in raising this child, being a mother and a father, and shepherding him or her through life.''
Hudson remains single, but a few days ago was spotted with former flame Justin Timberlake.
