I got my copy of the Something Borrowed DVD earlier this week, and this weekend have added over 350 screencaps from the extras/special features for you! There are some good extras on the DVD – they’re all pretty short, but there’s enough of them to enjoy it. I particularly enjoyed the ‘I’m Sorry We Haven’t Had Time To Talk’ deleted scene! I love Kate’s performance as Darcy … I’m still crossing my fingers we get the sequel

Kate has been in London for the last couple of weeks, as Matt’s band Muse were performing at a festival. Kate was snapped out and about in London, including going to watch a Chelsea football match with her two Chelsea fans Matt and Ryder! Kate is looking amazing post-pregnancy. Photos from the (non-intrusive) London sightings have now been added to the Gallery … and make sure you don’t miss the super-cute shot of Kate and Matt watching the football together!
Let me also just remind you of our new candid policy, which I will be adding to our Gallery page asap, just to make sure everyone is aware of it. As I said in that post, we’re just here to support Kate!

As posted about in our previous update, Something Borrowed was released on DVD and blu-ray in the US a week or so ago. In case you haven’t already treated yourself to a copy, below are the extras that can be found on the blu-ray edition, that will hopefully tempt you to purchase one. I’m not sure whether these will also be on the DVD – can anyone let us know about this? I’m hoping they’ll also be on the UK DVD, which is released next week I believe … and if they are, I’ll be adding screencaps from them asap.
“Inside ‘Something Borrowed’” (2:31) is a short making-of featurette, chatting up cast and crew about thematic intention and character motivation.
“Gag Reel” (5:34) is a pedestrian run of mix-em-ups, highlighting botched improvisations, burping urges, and giggle fits.
“Something Old?” (3:50) discusses the anxiety and terror of being 30 years of age (what a nightmare!), with cast and crew interviews exploring the benefits of the number, gifted a slightly comedic slant.
“On Location Tours with Emily Giffin” (4:51) follows the author around as she embarks on a promotional tour for the film’s theatrical release, culminating in a NYC bus ride with devoted fans.
“Marcus’s Guide to the Ladies” (6:41) permits actor Steve Howey an opportunity to improv (in-character) a list of tips and tricks to scoring women. It’s hideously unfunny.
“What is ‘Something Borrowed’” (1:46) sprints through a discussion of the movie’s plot, hitting up the cast for insider info.
“Left off the Guest List” (7:38) are deleted scenes, exploring further sitcom moments of confrontation and misty-eyed acts of love and confession.
A Theatrical Trailer has not been included.

I have a nice update for you today! Something Borrowed is released on DVD today in the US, and thanks to Michelle we have blu-ray quality screencaptures for you! These are gorgeous HD captures that I’m sure you’ll love.
While this movie didn’t get great reviews, I really enjoyed it, and am looking forward to watching it again when the DVD hits my shores in the UK on August 29th. Kate was brilliant as the deliciously self-centered Darcy! Pick up a copy of the DVD or blu-ray if you can.

After Matthew Bellamy tweeted the first photo of Kate & Bingham, he also tweeted something less nice about the paparazzi interest in him and his family:
Wow, these paps are annoying. Thought we’d tweet pic in hope of paps backing off, didn’t work!
There should be laws protecting minors…
To cut to the point, this immediately got me thinking, and now knowing his feelings towards the paparazzi’s behaviour towards his family, I feel there is no other option but to have a re-think about the candids we post here. I’ve decided that I won’t feel comfortable posting candids with Bing in them at this point. I am very aware that this will disappoint a lot of you, and true, you can find the photos elsewhere, but as a FANsite that is simply here to SUPPORT Kate, I think it would be incredibly disrespectful to post and therefore support, something which Kate and Matthew find so upsetting. I hope you’ll understand my decision. I will continue to post candids of Kate (and probably Ryder, as Kate has never strongly voiced an opinion on this) AS LONG AS she does not look distressed/angry/annoyed at the paparazzi – this has always been my policy. As I said, we’re here to support Kate.

Cuteness alert!! New daddy Matthew has tweeted the first photo of baby Bingham, and it is an adorable shot of Mommy Kate with her new baby curled up next to her! You can view it on Matt’s Twitter, or in our Gallery following the links below. Matthew later tweeted that they decided to release this photo in an attempt to get the paparazzi to leave them alone … but more on that later.

Kate has been snapped out again a couple more times in recent days – on August 7th she was seen out having lunch with Ryder & Matthew (and looking beautiful doing so with no make-up on), and a few days later she and Matt had a date night at Schwartz Bakery. Kate is featured in the new September issue of US Elle magazine, with a new photoshoot and brief interview to promote her new jewellry line CH+KH! The photos are very dreamy and stunning and the interview is short, but gives us a bit more info into the line, courtesey of Kate and her friend and collaborator Laurie Lynn Stark.

Kate has been snapped out and about for the first time since the birth of Bing in the last few weeks, and the photos are all unbelievably cute!! Her first photographed outing since Bing’s arrival was in Brentwood when she went out for lunch with Ryder and Matt, and the three-some have since been photographed enjoying spending time together on the beach in Malibu. On July 18th they were seen building a sand castle together (in between a few PDA’s from Kate & Matt – so sweet), and on July 24th Ryder showed his mommy his smurf toy while Matt put his legs across Kate and had a nap. The family are clearly very close and very happy, and I think you’ll all do a big ‘awwww’ looking at these photos!!

Proud new daddy Matt Bellamy announced on his Twitter page the name of his and Kate’s newborn son: please welcome Bingham “Bing” Hawn Bellamy into the world! Matt (and our lovely visitor Cam) explained that ‘Bingham’ is Matt’s mum’s maiden name, and that it is also Kate’s dad Kurt’s fathers name. While it is an unusual name, it’s typically sweet and admirable that our family-oriented Kate named her new son in honour of her family.
