KATE HUDSON HEAVEN was created on May 24th 2003, having been thought about since late 2002. Kate Hudson Heaven opened on June 21st. We were hosted by my lovely friend Maria at her personal domain silent-whispers.com. In September 2003, the site moved to broken-tears.org, because of bandwidth problems at silent-whispers. Broken-tears.org is my own domain, so I have control over space and banwidth, which is great! In the summer of 2005 Amanda sold me the domain name kate-hudson.org and after moving to fan-sites.org in late 2007 kate-hudson.org is now our official URL.



I created this site because I love Kate- why else?! I want to create a site that has everything a fan wants from a fansite, and is totally original. I often find that some fansites are good, but they don't have much content. I love being able to browse through lots of varied content on fansites and that's one of my aims with this site - to provide you with all you could want on Kate. If you think I'm missing something then please tell me! All content is written by me (bar news releases and interviews).



This site is a non-profit fansite, meaning I receive NO money for running it. Donations are welcome and are used to pay for magazines to scan for the site, layouts, and for contest prizes. Why Kate?
I love everything about Kate, but mainly because she has this amazing ability to make people smile, with the way she always looks happy and bubbly. I first saw her in Gossip, but the film of hers that made me love her was, of course, Almost Famous- I couldn't take my eyes off the screen whilst watching it. So I've been a fan since early 2001. My favourite Kate movie is Almost Famous, with How To Lose A Guy, 200 Cigarettes & About Adam coming in second. I like that Kate hasn't used her parents fame to be successful in Hollywood- she's done it all by herself. Honestly, I didn't know she was Goldie's daughter the first time I saw her, I only found that out once I started learning about Kate. I also admire that she seems very happy with herself, she has a lot of self-confidence but not in an arrogant way. And I love her style, and her whole rock-chick/hippy/bohemian ways!
