Kate Hudson Heaven was created on May 24th 2003, having been thought about since late 2002, and opened it's
doors on June 21st of that year. We were first hosted by my friend Maria
at her personal domain silent-whispers.com, and then in September 2003 moved to my own domain, broken-tears.org,
where we were able to use more server resources. In the summer of 2005 Amanda sold me the domain name kate-hudson.org and after
moving to fan-sites.org in late 2007 kate-hudson.org became our official URL. We have been happily hosted at
fan-sites.org since then, with everything we could possibly need! Over our 8 years online I've worked hard to build up a
complete, comprehensive and accurate fansource for Kate, and the site has become the largest and longest running fansite
for her.
I created this site because I love Kate - why else?! I want to create a site that has everything a fan wants from a fansite,
and is totally original. I often find that some fansites are good, but they don't have much content. I love being able to
browse through lots of varied content on fansites and that's one of my aims with this site - to provide you with all you
could want on Kate. We think Kate is worth the extra effort! If you think I'm missing something then please
get in touch! All content within this fansite is written by me (bar news releases and
interviews). Kate Hudson Heaven also aims to provide information on, and promote and support, Kate's
professional career, as well as being respectful of Kate as a person. We want to provide a fun and informative fansite
for Kate's fans, as well as be an informative resource for those just 'getting to know her' and wanting to learn
more about her.

Why Kate?
I love everything about Kate, but mainly because she has this amazing ability to make people smile, with the way she
always looks happy and bubbly. I first saw her in Gossip, but the film of hers that made me love her was, of course,
Almost Famous - I couldn't take my eyes off the screen whilst watching it. So I've been a fan since early 2001. My
favourite Kate movie is Almost Famous, with How To Lose A Guy, Bride Wars and 200 Cigarettes
coming in second. While I admit Kate doesn't always choose the movies that show off her talent as best as possible, she has
a certain charm about her that always makes her so watchable and likeable on screen, and I always look forward to seeing her
new movies. I like that Kate hasn't used her parents fame to be successful in Hollywood - she's done it all by herself. I
didn't even know she was Goldie Hawn's daughter the first time I saw her, I only found that out once I started learning
about Kate. I also admire her self-confidence and positive, laid-back approach to life. Not to mention her fantastic style!
