Golden Globes 2003 in Valentino If Kate were a dress, this would be it. It reflects her personality perfectly - bright, colourful, confident and vibrant. It also has the important hippie element to it, as well as being very elegant. In this bold and daring creation, Kate certainly stood out from the crowd this night.

SAG Awards 2001 in Donna Karen This dress is a perfect sybmol of Kate's youthfulness. The colour and sparkles make the dress pretty yet elegant. And while oversized flowers can sometimes be overwhelming, Kate's little addition compliments the look perfectly. Her tussled golden locks finish the look off.

Raising Helen LA Premiere 2004 in Versace Kate looks beautiful in this ultra-feminine and pretty Versace gown. She makes the most of her new post-baby figure with the V-cut and fitted style on the top half, and the dress loosens up towards the bottom with ruffles and tassles. The purple-pink colour of the dress perfectly compliments her very golden locks, as does the soft make-up.

MTV Movie Awards 2003 in ila by Amy Habacker Kate looks fun and sexy in this short strapless brown ila by Amy Habacker dress. Kate accessories simply with her trademark golden bangles, and her lose blonde locks have never looked better. On another celebrity, this dress might be considered tacky, but with Kate's grace, it looks fantastic.

Oscars 2003 in Versace With Kate's personality often described as similar to champagne, this dress is perfect for her. The subtle champagne coloured chiffon gown was covered with delicate lace and beads. Kate doesn't overdo her look, and sticks to subtle make-up and diamond earrings and bracelet. She has never looked more sophisticated!

You, Me And Dupree LA Premiere 2006 in Diane Von Furstenburg Kate goes for the shimmery red carpet dress again and can you blame her? She looks incredible! While she doesn't often wear darker dresses, this one is a refreshinhg change, and the sparkliness adds a touch of Kate. The deep-V neck and black ribbon around the waist make sure the outfit is not too OTT. Her golden curls tumble naturally creating a softer look. Kate goes for very minimal make-up with dark eyes and sparkly eye-shadow. Simple black strappy heels complete the look.

MTV Movie Awards 2006 in Gucci Kate goes for the full-on sexy look! Kate looks stunning in this white-silver cowl-necked mini dress, that has a slight 60's theme to it. She also sports new, shorter locks - the carefree tussled golden style is what Kate does best. Always one to know how to accessorise, Miss Hudson adds a touch of colour with a red bangle on her arm (not wrist!) and a large gold ring.

The Skeleton Key London Premiere 2005 in Roberto Cavalli Kate wears one of the styles of the (then) season - metallic. The colour is hard to classify (gray? silver? brown? a hint of purple perhaps?) which makes this dress even more alluring, and it falls gorgeously to the ground. Kate casually accessories with a natural looking bangle and a bracelet. Kate recognises that simple hair and make-up work best for her, as illustrated here.

Venice Film Festival Le Divorce Premiere 2003 in Chanel Kate shows off her growing bump in this lacy purple encrusted dress. While it may look fussy close-up, from afar Kate looks radiant and stunning. She adds to the femininity of the look with rosy cheeks and pick lips and eye make-up. The mum-to-be hasn't given up her heels yet, and wears matching strappy heels.

Premiere Magazine's New Power Awards 2004 in Chanel This was a new look for Kate - something much more grown up. The dark navy fitted dress enhances her figure, and the slit at the fron adds a touch of fun. The dark eye make-up compliments the dress, but Kate keeps the rest simple with her hair loosely knotted at the back and small silver earrings.
